Hip-hop star Dr Dre mourns son's death

Hip-hop super producer Dr Dre is mourning the loss of his 20-year-old son, who�died over the weekend at�his Californian home.



Sources confirmed to People.com that Andre Young Jr was found "unresponsive" by his mother on Saturday morning.


Dr Dre's voice Lori Early said the rapper and producer was "mourning the loss of his son".


"Please respect his family's grief and seclusion at this time," Early said.�


Young had been out with friends the late night and returned nursing home around 5.30am. When his mother failed to rouse him, paramedics were called.


An pM has been carried out and no foul play is suspected, People.com reported.


Dr Dre has recorded several hit albums, including NWA's classic Straight Outta Compton, and his solo handout 2001. The gangster rap pioneer has also crafted hit songs for Eminem, 50 Cent and The Game.


His new solo record album Detox is scheduled to be released later this year.


Dr Dre has four-spot other children: sons Curtis, 26, Marcel, 17, and Truth, 11; and girl Truly, 7.
